Chris has over 30 years experience in the Energy industry. He has a degree in Chemical Engineering, starting his career in Manufacturing with Exxon. He joined Shell in 1997, where he held a number of roles in Supply and Trading based in Europe and the East. Having run their supply and marine business in Australia, hs spent 5 years in more Strategic roles firstly as Downstream Consultancy Manager and then as Senior Strategy Adviser for Downstream Cost Reduction and Joint Venture Excellence. In his last role at Shell he was Chief Economist to Shell Trading and Head of Oil Markets Analysis, advising the business on short term dynamics effecting Global Oil Markets as well as leading a team which modeled the future crude, oil products and chemicals trends in order to provide pricing to su
